Aquaponic Systems

Growing fish and vegetables together.

Natural, sustainable and rewarding.

What it is?

Aquaponics refers to any system that combines conventional aquaculture raising fish with hydroponics  in a symbiotic environment.

How it works?

In aquaponics, the nutrient-rich water that results from raising fish provides a source of natural fertilizer for the growing plants. As the plants consume the nutrients, they help to purify the water for the fish. A natural microbial process keeps both the fish and plants healthy. Aquaponics, therefore, produces both fish and organic or chemical-free fruits and vegetables, in a dynamic, pond-type ecosystem. It can feed your family, or it can be part of providing vegetable and fish for a whole community.
